MIDDLE SCHOOL

Engaging Students to be Better Learners
Our Middle School covers grades 6–8, guiding students through the transition from elementary to high school. Classes at this level are intentionally designed to encourage collaboration and critical thinking, ensuring that students learn to work together while developing essential analytical skills. Each year, academic challenges increase, and students are engaged in activities that prepare them for the collaborative and higher-level coursework they will encounter in high school, helping them build the confidence they need for a smooth transition and future success.
Adolescence
When students reach adolescence, they encounter numerous social, emotional, and physical changes. Our dedicated educators are prepared to support them through these transformations, thoughtfully guiding students in ways that encourage personal growth and overall well-being. Through our commitment during this pivotal stage, we help students transform challenges into valuable opportunities for development and achievement.
Homework
While homework is a valuable tool for reinforcing classroom learning, research shows that assigning excessive amounts does not necessarily lead to greater academic achievement. At IWA, we uphold strict homework policies that all educators follow to ensure assignments are purposeful and can be completed within a reasonable time each day. This approach supports meaningful learning while promoting healthy development and overall success.
Academics
At IWA, we view middle school as the essential foundation for future success in high school. One of our central goals is to build self-esteem in our students, empowering them to approach new challenges with confidence. Across all our subjects, we ensure that students steadily build their critical thinking abilities and develop robust learning-to-learn skills. Our educators foster a genuine appreciation for learning, encouraging students to excel and embrace academic challenges with enthusiasm and self-assurance.
HIGH SCHOOL

Preparing Students for Success
At Innova World Academy, we firmly believe in the capacity of our students to rise to new challenges. For this reason, all students are enrolled in courses that require higher-level thinking skills, as we recognize that these abilities must be cultivated during this critical period of development—otherwise, they may never fully emerge. We are committed to each student’s personal development, giving them the opportunity to understand their strengths and use them confidently after graduating from IWA.
Expectations
The expectations an educator holds for their students play a crucial role in shaping student outcomes. At Innova World Academy, our educators believe in every student’s potential to succeed, and we make this belief a cornerstone of our approach. As a result, our team consistently encourages students and provides ongoing support not only to them but also to their families throughout each day. This supportive environment fosters confidence and resilience, helping students achieve their personal best.
Assessments
Many students experience assessment anxiety, which can negatively affect their performance and ultimately lower their self-esteem. At Innova World Academy, we view assessments not as grading tools, but as tools to determine whether students are ready to move forward with new content or if they need to revisit previous topics. Each student is encouraged to finish their assessment at their own pace, while our educators work hard to ensure a safe and supportive environment throughout the process.
Success has Different Pathways
While each student’s pathway to success may look different, IWA embraces a comprehensive framework for lifelong learning built on four key pillars: Learning to Know, Learning to Do, Learning to Live Together, and Learning to Be. These pillars guide our approach by encouraging students to acquire broad knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, learn to work in intercultural teams, and to nurture their personal growth. These abilities will play a crucial role in shaping our students’ future achievements, no matter which path they decide to pursue.

At IWA, we evaluate each student’s situation individually to ensure the best possible academic outcome.
