Innova World Academy welcomes applications from students around the world. However, please be aware that all core subjects at IWA are taught in English. Therefore, students must demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing in English to attend and succeed in our academic programs.

Arizona Students
Arizona students can use their empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds to pay tuition at Innova World Academy, as we are an approved vendor. Families can conveniently make payments directly to IWA through ClassWallet, streamlining the process and ensuring quick application of funds to your account.

Non-Arizona Students
We warmly welcome students from across the globe to Innova World Academy. Our commitment to fostering a multicultural environment ensures that all students benefit from a global community, offering unique perspectives and enriching experiences to support their educational growth.

Criteria
At Innova World Academy, we believe it is our responsibility to inspire students and help them reach their highest potential. Our primary selection criteria focuses on students who demonstrate a willingness to engage actively in the classroom and show genuine eagerness to learn. We value learners who are motivated to participate and contribute positively to our vibrant academic community.

Enrollment Options
Students at Innova World Academy have the flexibility to enroll either as full-time students or as course students, full-time students will receive all core subjects and participate in six live class hours each day from Monday to Thursday, Fridays are dedicated to assessments and project work. Course students may select specific courses to participate in, which can include core subjects or specialized skill courses designed to enhance talents and abilities.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Financial aid is available at IWA. Awards are determined through a needs-based evaluation process, ensuring that support is provided to those who require it most. In addition to needs-based financial aid, IWA offers scholarships to students who excel academically or demonstrate outstanding abilities in other fields. Please note that students must submit a separate application for financial aid and scholarships.

Documents
As part of the admissions process, applicants are required to provide documentation confirming certification from the two previous school years. Proof of identity for both the student and their guardian must also be submitted. In addition, photographs are requested for identification and security purposes, helping to ensure a safe community for everyone.

Application Form
All students are required to complete the same general application form as part of the admissions process. However, students who wish to apply for financial aid or scholarships must also fill out a separate application specific to those programs. This ensures that the appropriate information is collected for needs-based aid and scholarship consideration.

Student Interview
Full-time students will participate in a friendly and relaxing interview. The purpose of this interview is to ensure that students have the basic English skills necessary to succeed in their core subjects. We strive to make the process comfortable so that every student can perform to the best of their ability.

Parent Interview
IWA prides itself on working hand-in-hand with the parents or guardians of its students. As a result, interviewing the parents or guardians is an important step in the admission process. This interview allows the school to better understand the expectations of families while also providing an opportunity to answer any questions they may have about the school and its programs.

Can full-time students join IWA mid-year?
In general, students are not able to join IWA mid-year. This policy is due in part to our limited classroom space, as each class is capped at 10 students, and also because our educational program is designed to build sequentially throughout the academic year. However, we understand that special circumstances can arise. In certain cases, we may consider mid-year admissions. Can course students join IWA mid-year?
Yes, course students are welcome to join IWA at any time, as our courses have different starting and ending dates throughout the year. This flexible scheduling allows new students to enroll in available courses whenever they are ready, regardless of the academic calendar. What are ESA funds?
ESA funds, or Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, are a form of educational funding provided by the state of Arizona. These accounts allow eligible Arizona students to receive public funding that can be used for a variety of educational expenses, such as tuition at private schools or for specific educational courses.
What is the deadline to apply as a full-time student?
The deadline to apply as a full-time student is June 15, 2026. However, since we only accept 10 students per classroom, it is possible that certain sections may reach capacity and close before the official deadline. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to enroll as early as possible to secure their place.
What is the deadline to apply as a course student?
Courses at IWA are offered throughout the year, providing flexibility for students to join at different times. The deadline to apply for each course is one month prior to the course’s start date. However, as each course can only accommodate a maximum of 10 students, some courses may reach capacity and close admissions before the official deadline. For this reason, we recommend applying as early as possible to secure your spot. Courses.
Do you accept applications for students that apply past the deadline?
The admission deadline is set to help us efficiently organize our schedules and assign teachers to each class. However, we may consider late applications if accepting additional students does not disrupt the scheduling that has already been established. While we encourage students to apply even after the official deadline, please note that we cannot guarantee there will be available spaces.

How does Scheduling work?
Our scheduling model closely resembles that of a traditional brick-and-mortar school. Classes are held each day, typically beginning around 8:00am and finishing at approximately 2:00pm, though the exact end time may vary depending on the day’s timetable. We believe that having a consistent schedule helps both students and adults organize themselves more effectively and supports better learning outcomes.
From the very first day, all full-time students receive the yearly schedule, ensuring they can plan ahead and manage their commitments with confidence.
Does a full-time student that graduates at IWA earn a High-School diploma?
Full-time students at Innova World Academy follow a comprehensive curriculum that is carefully structured to ensure they meet all the requirements necessary for earning their High School Arizona diploma. This academic pathway equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue further studies, preparing them for a seamless transition into higher education, with an emphasis on STEM careers.

What are the eligibility requirements to apply for IWA?
At IWA, we do not require test scores or maintain any specific ranking system for students who apply. Instead, one essential requirement is that applicants can communicate both verbally and in writing in English, as all our core subjects are taught in English. Do all application documents need to be in English?
Yes. All application documents must be submitted in English. If your documents are originally in another language, you will need to submit both the original documents and their English translations. Does IWA accept Homeschooled students?

Does IWA accept international students?

Does IWA require an English proficiency standardized test?
No, IWA does not require a standardised English proficiency test for admission. However, every applicant participates in a relaxed interview conducted in English to ensure they can engage effectively in our academic environment. GED Program
Do you offer a GED program?
Yes, we offer a GED program, and our specialised staff teach each subject, ensuring students not only gain the knowledge needed to acquire a GED certificate but also develop the foundational skills required for university entry. We recognise that, for many reasons—often beyond an individual’s control—not everyone is able to graduate from high school, yet they still aspire to earn a high school diploma and pursue higher education. Can international students enter the GED program to acquire a US Highschool Diploma?

Do you have to be fluent speaker in English to take the GED course?
No, the GED is a written test, so you need to be able to read and write in English, but you don’t need to be a fluent English speaker. Basic comprehension and writing skills are necessary to understand the exam questions and provide your responses, but full fluency is not required.
Is it possible to have some of the GED topics explained in Spanish?
Yes, we offer two distinct GED programs: one tailored for fluent English speakers and another designed specifically for native Spanish speakers. For those whose first language is Spanish, our course includes an additional English language support component. This means students will not only enhance their English skills, but also learn the GED content areas—science, maths, social studies, and language arts—in a supportive environment that bridges both languages. Our aim is to ensure all learners progress confidently, strengthening their English while mastering the core subjects needed for GED success.
